A Technique for Life

With the Technique you learn skills that you can take with you into ALL areas of your life and which support you THROUGHOUT your life.  Relief from pain, improved health and performance, reduced stress and anxiety, better posture, movement and co-ordination are only by-products of learning Alexander Technique not, as many people think, the end in itself.

Nevertheless learning it can have a positive effect on a wide range of stresses and ailments – many people come to it to deal with back, neck or shoulder pain and other muscular/skeletal problems, RSI, headaches, breathing difficulties, sports and performance strain, stress related conditions, anxiety, depression and a whole range of other self-limiting conditions.  It is also widely used by performers and sports people to enhance performance, improve vitality and general wellbeing.

You can learn the Alexander Technique through one-to-one lessons with me at my private practice in Victoria Park in Bristol. Through gentle hands-on guidance and verbal explanations you will find ease and balance within yourself and gain awareness and understanding that you can take into all your activity.

I have a lifetime of experience to offer, including 20 years as an Alexander Teacher, as well as careers in the professions, business and management training.
