Most of us are under pressure, most of the time. Typically, this means that we live in our heads. If we are young or young-ish, maybe we go the gym, do a Saturday morning Parkrun or swim in a local pool. If we’re middle aged or more, maybe we do a couple of hours of Nordic Walking a week, or belong to the Ramblers. In any of these cases, though, we’ll still be living in our heads even as we exercise our bodies. As one of my daughters once said, the body is a vehicle for transporting the head around. This is existing without being alive.

Alexander Technique is holistic. Brain and body are one, not two. As an understood and felt unity, we have a chance to begin living.

Let’s do it!
